Obituaries

Karen Anne Lobsinger Seals passed away peacefully after her dinner at Brucelea Haven in Walkerton January 16, 2021 with her sister by her side in her 83rd year. What a gal!   Graduated from St. Mary’s school of nursing then to Sunnybrook in Toronto and then with her friends Pat, Marian Millie & others to California for 15 years, where she gave birth to her only daughter Diane Seals (San Diego) and she gave her mother four beautiful grandchildren, Mitchell, Hannah, Sarah and Taylor. They all live in Fort Smith NWT. 

   Karen moved home to London when Diane was a baby and lived with the Heisz family and worked in surgery at University hospital when it was first opening and then stayed in London and worked as an assessment manager for Homecare CCAC retired and moved to Mildmay. She lived there before moving to Maplecourt retirement home for 1 year and then to Brucelea Haven. 

Sister to Ken (Julie) Owen Sound; David (June) Owen Sound; Doug (Audrey) London; Rose Marie (Bob) Mildmay; Rick (Chyleen) Mildmay.

Predeceased by her parents Kay & Nixie (Gordon) Lobsinger Paternal grandparents Thomas Twinning (Toronto) & Lilian Lobsinger (Mildmay)

Maternal grandparents Peter & Catherine Lenahan (Lobsinger)Great uncle Ed Lobsinger (Mildmay) Great grandparents August & Mary Kramer Lobsinger Brother-in-law Bob Heisz Karen has been cremated and will rest at her home where she was born. She will be celebrated in style at a later date with a few Guinness and some Irish whisky and internment at Sacred Heart cemetery with her parents. 

Karen loved life to the fullest and was kindness itself. Donations may be made to the Residential Hospice South Site or a charity of choice as expressions of sympathy.
