Douglas Edward Paul McCorry, of Hanover, passed away at Hanover and District Hospital on Tuesday, August 27, 2024. He was 78 years of age.Â
Born on March 29, 1946 in Hanover, to the late Arthur and Pauline (nee Kueneman) McCorry. Doug enjoyed living a simple life and spending time with family. He enjoyed lawn bowling and was the Number #1 Fan of the Hanover Barons. He was a devoted member of Holy Family Church in Hanover and  worked for many years at Durham Furniture.Â
Survived by sister Joyce Woolford, niece Krista (Jared Daku) Moscato, and great nieces and nephew Rylie, Colton, and Sierra, all of Calgary, Alberta. Predeceased by his parents, brother Richard, and brother-in-law Ernie Woolford.Â
Visitation will be held at Holy Family Church, Hanover, on Saturday, August 31, 2024 from 9-9:30am where a Funeral Mass will follow at 9:30 am. Father Romalito Guillen officiating. Inurnment in Holy Family Cemetery, Hanover.Â
