Wayne Huehn passed away at 74 years of age peacefully at his home in Hanover on September 18th, 2024. He was born in June, 1950, to late William and Gertrude Huehn.Â
Wayne is survived by his loving wife Edith (nee Bender) of 49 years, loving son Jason (Carla), and was adored by grandchildren Brooke and Boston. He is remembered by brothers Randy (Dorothy), Grant (Pamela), and family members Mervyn (Linda) Bender, Linda Russwurm, Donald Bender, Nancy (Kim) Marquis, Janet (Craig) Maxwell, Carolyn (Wayne) Hill, Shirley Russwurm, Ellen (Pete) Smith, Winston Kirpatrick, and numerous nieces and nephews and their families.Â
He is predeceased by his sister Linda Kirpatrick and brother-in-law Ken Russwurm, nephew Jerry Bender, and Arnold Russwurm.Â
Wayne was an entrepreneur, running his own lawn care business, WH Property Maintenance, for many years. In his younger years, he was a truck driver and enjoyed riding his motorcycle. Wayne was talented at many hobbies including woodworking and gardening, and he enjoyed camping with Edith.Â
A celebration of life service will be held at St. Matthew’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Hanover on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at 11 am. There will be a time of fellowship and light refreshments following the service in the Church Hall.Â
