Trevor "Wayne" Thompson, of Hanover, formerly of RR#1 Chesley,  passed away peacefully at The Village Senior's Community in Hanover on Sunday, February 4, 2024. 

Born on February 19, 1942 to the late Trevor and Evelyn Thompson.  Farming was Wayne's enjoyment in life and he was so handy in trying to fix things up around the farm. He would pass along the work ethic along to his children. 

Loved husband of Iradelle of Hanover. Dear father of Dale Lee (Wayne) Eichenberger, Michael (Lori) Thompson and missed by his grandchildren Danielle (Dave), Nicky (Ryan), Brooklyn, Brianna, Brandon (Kayla) and great granddaughter Mekenna. Fondly remembered by his sister Gail Parker, Linda Karn (Len)  Karn and in laws John (Pat) Stewart, Darylann Thompson (Dan).  Special friend to Mike (Kelly) Knapp. Predeceased by his parents, sister Betty, brother Ernie and brother in laws Ken Hamel, Ken Karn and Robert Parker. 

To honour his wishes, cremation has taken place and a Private inurnment of ashes will take place in the spring in Hanover Cemetery.
