Jean Martin of Mildmay passed away peacefully with family at her side on Friday, August 18, 2023 at Brampton Civic Hospital in her 94th year. Dearly loved mother of Lisa and dear sister of Bill (Shirley) Ernewein of Walkerton. Much loved aunt to many nieces and nephews.Â
Predeceased by her husband Donald Martin (1982), her parents George and Irene Ernewein, sisters Kathleen (Keith Sr.) Campbell, Elaine (Alfred) Hehn and Brenda Ernewein and sister-in-law Sharon Ernewein and niece Rose Weiler. Also predeceased by parents-in-law Fred and Jennie Martin and sister-in-law Kay (Barney) Modeland and nephew Roger Modeland.
Jean is resting at the Greg Roberts Funeral Home. As per Jean’s request there will be NO visitation.Â
Mass for Jean will be conducted by Fr. Leszek Szczygiel at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Mildmay on Friday, August 25, 2023 at 11 am. Interment in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Mildmay. Donations in Jean’s name may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Diabetes Society.
