Jim Switzer of Marl Lake, Hanover passed away at the Hanover Hospital on Thursday, January 25, 2024 in his 78th year. Beloved husband of Adell (Ellis). Loving father of Angie and her husband Brian Pelch and Amy and her husband Chris Fischer. Proud grandfather of Dylan and Macy Fischer. Fondly remembered by brother-in-law Donald Ellis, his friend Sharyn Smith, Heather Ellis and niece Erin Abou-Abssi, nephews Cole Ellis and Dean Ellis and many cousins, friends and neighbours. Predeceased by his father and mother, Robert and Thelma Switzer and father and mother-in-law, Russell and Della Ellis. Jim loved to sing and play the guitar and spent many hours on his karaoke machine entertaining family and friends. Jim loved and took great pride as grounds keeper for the Town of Hanover cemetery and planned to return in April.
